AradazAmp2_White Updated (v1.1)

I have updated AradazAmp2_White to AradazAmp2_White_v1.1. There are small changes that make AradazAmp2_White_v1.1 better then the previous version.

Somebody told me that if the tone of AradazAmp and distortion of AradazAmp2_White are mixed would be nice, so I'll try to make it for the next version of AradazAmp2.

AradazAmp2_White_v1.1 Updates:

  • Reduced CPU usage (8.1 % in my PC)
  • 64 bit internal processing revised
  • Cabinet Simulator (> 48000 Hz) level fixed
Please send me e-mail if you found any bugs.

Thanks,

AradazAmp by Ncrypto

Don't let the small file size of "AradazAmp" & "AradazAmp White Version" fool you into thinking this VST effect is inferior. Aradaz Amp is one powerful guitar amp simulator that will absolutely blow your mind! I loaded this little amp into my vst host (Reaper) ......plugged in my guitar and played a line or two of AC/DC's "Back In Black" and was amazed. This amp sim carries one powerful punch and an un muddled distortion effect that compares to the commercial programs. If you are a guitarist and need a simple, quick, yet strong amp sim "AradazAmp" is the way to go. From clean, drive, and lead sound..... it definitely provides. The white version sports a nice cabinet simulator that gives you a warm rich creamy sound that's unbeatable.

(Virtual) Guitar Amplifier

Guitar amplifier has two main factors inside. There are preamp section and power amp section. All types of amplifier which are tube, solid state, combo, head - cabinet always have this two main sections.

Preamp receives the initial guitar signal, processes it, makes it stronger and sends it to power amplifier section. If guitar signal is connected directly to power amplifier, there will be small or even no sound can be heard from the speaker. The signal is not hot (loud) enough to be processed by the power amplifier.

Tone shaping and signal distorting are done in preamp section. Tone shaping has the same meaning with coloring which is setting the equalizer (bass, middle, treble and presence) knobs. Channels of guitar amplifier (Clean, Drive and Lead) are depend on its preamp electronic circuits. If guitar amplifier has 2 channels it means that this guitar amplifier has 2 different electronic circuits in preamp section.

Power amplifier is the last part of guitar amplifier. This section receives processed guitar signal by the preamp and then makes it hundreds times louder before it sent to the speaker. Generally, there is no additional coloring or characterizing in this section.

Virtual guitar amplifiers are usually done by simulating the preamp section of the real guitar amplifiers. It simulates the important parts of the real guitar amplifier that do the tonal work such as equalizer, distortion / tube behavior, input / output filters, etc and turn it into mathematical equations. The characteristics of power amplifier can be captured simultaneously with cabinet impulse response.

MASTERING MAXIMIZER TIPS

Using AradazMaximizer4.3:

  • Put your stereo wav file into your audio editing software / DAW
  • Make sure that your signal level never exceed / close to 0 dB
  • Place AradazMaximizer at your plugins last chain
  • Set Input Gain Control parameter at 0 dB
  • Set Gain Control Release parameter at 0.001 s (fastest)
  • Maximize & Output parameters stay at 0 dB

Input section (Increase your speaker monitor volume level to your normal hearing)

  • Decrease Input Gain Control between -3 dB to -6 dB (Depend on transients of your stereo wav file)
  • if your music become to distort or you want to add more punch, slowly increase Gain Control Release parameter until you get a clean sound

Output Section (Decrease your speaker monitor volume level, give some room for maximizing)

  • Set your output parameter at -0.3 dB or -0.4 dB
  • Maximize your stereo file to get your desired loudness level

Thank You,
